An editor preview and a published website serve different purposes. The preview lets you review work in progress; publication makes a reviewed version available to visitors. Know which version you are looking at before assuming that an edit has appeared on the live link.
Make one understandable change at a time
For a text correction, use the text control and check the surrounding section. For a larger redesign, describe the intended outcome and wait for the completed result. Avoid issuing several conflicting requests at once. Clear changes are easier to inspect and undo than a chain of instructions whose effects overlap.
Save and review deliberately
Look at the save state and any conflict message. If another tab or device has changed the website, review the newer version before overwriting it. Do not dismiss a conflict by repeatedly clicking save. Keep a copy of important original material separately so you can reconstruct a change if necessary.
Publish the intended result
Check the preview at narrow and wide widths, test the links you changed and confirm the website language. Then use the publishing action. Open the actual public address in a separate tab to verify the version visitors receive. A successful local edit does not by itself prove a completed publication.
Know the interruption behavior
If a request is interrupted, return to the website and inspect its recorded status before trying again. A provider request may already have been dispatched even if your browser stopped waiting. Retrying can consume another allowance or produce a second proposal. Do not assume Undo reverses a remote publication, external payment or provider action.
VollSite separates manual edits, requested edits, saving and publishing. The visible request allowance helps you decide whether to generate another change. Unpublishing can take the live website offline while preserving its draft. After any important update, verify the public link and the main visitor action rather than relying only on the editor’s appearance.
